As far as this page is concerned - and really, my online presence as a whole - I'm just an anime and game-obsessed fan with nothing better to do than write fan fiction and bogus essays on whatever strikes my fancy. I have goals, responsibilities, and a life completely unrelated to the internet, and I fully intend to keep them separate, with the exception of good friends who are welcome to talk to me on or offline. ^.^ I know it sounds bitchy, but don't think you know me just because you read my site updates and journal entries. The same goes for anyone you meet or follow online. What you see is usually not the whole story.
The above is spawned mainly from long years in Xenogears communities, where things like religion, personal character, philosophy, and the like all come up (and likely come up in other places too, but hey - I don't go elsewhere, so). The community is pretentious overall, and I include myself in that assessment. It's not meant as an insult, though. I am a crazy Xenogears fan - I admit it. To this day I still like it. This love doesn't extend to Xenosaga, which is mildly entertaining at best and annoying otherwise.
With Xenogears, it's all about Krelian and Episode IV. As a friend would say, it makes me wibbly to this day. And even though it was very pretentious of the creators to rip so much from mysticism, I love that about the game too. My mind can give it the depth I want it to have.
I've been online since summer of 1998; I was hired at RPGamer in October of that year, and quit in August 2000. If you remember me from that time, and hate hate hate how I ran the fic section, well - get over it. I quit five-and-something years ago. Let it go. It has been a long time, yes? Frankly, I look back on that time and cringe. You're not the only one.
I mentioned Xenogears above. (Went on for two paragraphs. Wow.) I wrote Shadows Falling (which is in the fic section, but don't read it for the love of god) in 1998, and created Guardian Angels at about the same time. I'd love to say it's the ultimate Xenogears site, but who knows? How immodest that would be. :p I created Divine Seal in 2002 to serve a similar purpose for Valkyrie Profile, and still haven't finished it. It's claim to fame is the Illusion of Memory archive, which is full of fictional-goodness, if you're into VP.
So. I write fiction. Occasionally, I draw stuff. I'm a Xenogars fanatic. As far as the site goes, that's... it. I'm disappointing, what can I say?

Krelian/Sophia
I try to make this work in fics now and then, and fail every time. The pairing is more wishful thinking than anything, since I don't think it would be appropriate for the story.
Luc/Sarah
Theirloveissotrue. :p Again, something that would never happen in canon (and in fact would creep me out terribly if it did), but I love it anyway. If their end hadn't been so tragic, it probably wouldn't grip me so much.
Hikusaak
I like speculating about him. So there. It's fun! Suikoden is another fandom that's too fixated on canon, in my opinion. Been there, done that, wrote the article. (Ohh the arrogance.)
Onmyouji
I love these movies and all of their cheesy glory! The costumes and set designs are lovely. Alternately titled "The Yin-Yang Master." How can you not like that?
Angeleology
A pretentious label for the study of angels. I ramble about it now and then, even though I'm not knowledgable enough on the subject. No one else is interested, so I have to talk to myself. :p
