I had the first few scenes of Disc 2 of Xenogears in mind while drawing this, hence the quote. Lore mentioned liking present-day Elly better because she looks more detailed, but I think that's only because she's smaller - and probably because Solarian uniforms are ridiculously elaborate.

First submitted December 1998 to RPGamer as a holiday wish. Being as competitive as I was back then, it was important to be one of the first to start throwing fan art around. And I still think people copied the idea, but that's just the arrogance talking.
